(no subject)
the show last night was amazing.
lauren and i got there at like, noon, so we were clearly the first ones there. we were there alone for about 4 or 5 hours, but it was so worth it. we kept talking about "someone" like they were our bestfriend, haha. "they" never did show up until way later. saw the tiffanie, hung out with her for a little bit. talked to heather, becca & chelsie.
may i say that terminal are fucking hott? yeah. the drummer thought bangor was in canada & he asked us what state was above us, haha. the guitarist (james) is THE cutest thing ever, ohmylovingword. i don't even know what it is. lauren agreed. he smiled at me like 6 times & i went all fan-girl.
we made it up front, front row.. center.
terminal came on and they were so good. lauren & i kept trying to get pictures of james & we couldn't get very good ones. so he's standing there between songs & lauren snaps a picture, he sees the flash looks over, smiles & shrugs his shoulders all cutesy. SHE MISSED THE WHOLE THING.
acceptance played next and OHMYFUCKINGWORD. they were simply amazing. that's all there is to say. amazing. they took so long setting up & then some girl passed out during their set, but it was so worth the 6 hour wait in line, the 2 & a half hour drive & getting lost. they played (in this order, as much as i can remember, lauren help me out if i mess it up..) the conversation is over, take cover, in too far, different, permanent, breathless, glory/us & so contagious. even if they're out of order, those are the songs they played.
saosin came on & it was just hell, pure hell. they played really amazingly. by this time my shirt & PANTS were soaking with sweat, no lie. my hair looked like i just got out of the shower. this really tall kid kept asking me if i was alright.
we didn't stay to see anberlin, we couldn't have made it through.
we went out & got merch. i got 2 teeshirts & a zip-up, all acceptance. went out to the pool table & the same tall kid that was asking me if i was okay was there. he looked over at me & was like "you're a warrior" & i just started laughing & he's like "you're a warrior, seriously, i'm really proud of you."
talked to heather for a minute & then decided to leave.
