This is entry #900.
It's that time again... my statistics entry that comes every 100 journal entries. Feel free to skip it if you want. :-)
Another 100 posts have been made since my last journal statistics review back on entry #800. Journal statistics are based on last 900 entries (including this one). The figures in brackets are the statistics from the first 800 entries only.

In 993 days, 900 entries were made... which means that one journal entry is made every 1.10 days on average (previously 1:1.12 days - slight increase in the update frequency). Journal friends remain the same in number. Comment counts grew at a rate of approximately 15% and 20% in the past 100 entries--to others and received (previously 29% and 32%), which is a noticeable decline in the rate of comments.
The friends count is well below the cap of 60 friends, and no major friends-cuts are planned. There may be a few small deletions, though, in the near future.
Also, if I have removed you from my list in the past, please do the honorable thing and remove me from your list as well. For one, you won't be able to read anything other than entries that consist mainly of memes, quizzes or news articles, and secondly you won't even be able to comment without being screened. I took you off my list for a reason, yanno. :P
25.00% of the journal posts are visible to anyone (previously 27.75%), and 75.00% are restricted (previously 72.25%). This reflects the ongoing trend towards making this journal becoming more restricted than in the past. While there are currently no plans to make it 100% restricted, the policy of restricting all entries other than memes and news articles will remain in place.
One additional community has been added to the roster:
universal_music, which is a community dedicated to artists under the Universal Music Group. The total is now 7 approved communties (excluding paidmembers), 2 icon journals and 1 creative writing journal.
And now... the update on who's been commenting in my journal (as of November 11, 2005):
Total comments: 2637
