Greetings everyone. I'd like to take advantage of this this rare public journal entry to help promote a new LJ community about the Universal Music Group: universal_music
A friend of mine who works at Universal Music Group started this community as a medium to voice your opinion about music directly to those in the industry who have the power to actually do something!
The community is still new, but once it's in full swing, another goal it has is to share info on all of their new artists and releases, thereby allowing immediate feedback directly to the Universal Music Group. Universal has a huge portfolio of artists and there are many you are probably a fan of. A quick sample of who's under their umbrella: 50 Cent, All American Rejects, Ashlee Simpson, Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Brian McKnight, Dashboard Confessional, Eminem, Guns n' Roses, Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Mariah Carey, Marilyn Manson, McFly, Nickelback, No Doubt, Pussycat Dolls, Shania Twain, Vanessa Carlton, Weezer, Will Smith... the list goes on and on!
And the best part is, your opinion counts... good, bad, or ugly. It doesn't matter. Universal wants to hear what you say!
