Too many things

Whats going on in The World of Woods:

1. Packing/moving my parents into a new home down the street. Today was the first time I have been inside. It is nice, older, but nice. It has a movie/game room so thats all that matters.

2. Putting Shower Memos together for our craft show that starts on Fri. This consists of drilling holes in the backing and the pen holders, putting rivets in them, gluing the pad to the backing, inserting pens into the holders, placing 2 suction cups into the package, putting it all together and then stapling it all together. It's a pain. I may not have enough to last the whole show because....

3. I received an order for 350 Shower Memos yesterday from a lady who bought one at the last craft show we went to. I remember her, she told me that I should send one to Oprah. Anyways, she is getting them for an event at their church that she said is like an Oprah's "favorite things" type of deal. This will pretty much wipe me out of SM's which is good because I am sick of putting those fuckers together, but at the same time I am sad to see it end. Maybe someday I can afford to get some more made (that are actually put together properly so I don't have to do anything other than sell them).

4. Checked out the apt. Sarah and I are probably going to get. We had looked at these ones that were pretty nice, but these apts. kick their ass. I get to play golf for free on their 9 hole course, we get free cable (73 channels), they have a fitness center, b-ball, tennis, and volleyball courts, a swimming pool, and a bunch of other cool little things. It will rock. The place would be 100% perfect if we could have pets because we were really looking forward to getting a pug, but with any place there is always going to be "something".

5. I bought Last Days today, the Gus Van Sant movie based on Kurt Cobain's last days. I have been wanting to see this for a while and it was never in any theaters in Indiana, but now IT IS MINE!

6. The New Orleans Hornets are playing in Oklahoma this year and I saw one of the players yesterday. I saw a tall black guy standing next to a black Escalade and he was wearing athletic clothes so I looked at his license and sure enough it said Louisiana. No one probably cares, but I think it is cool.

7. My brother and I went to see a Willie Nelson concert about 2 weeks ago. It was pretty cool and we had free tickets. Good ole' Willie.

Off to do more work. Peace.
