From last Sunday's Age

"High tea
Hotel Nest, 111 Victoria Ave, Albert Park, 9699 9744, hotelnest.com.au
If high tea sounds like the domain of staid matrons in twinsets, venture to Hotel Nest for a modern twist on the classic. Vintage High Tea (called so because it's served on vintage crockery) is held at the hotel every Sunday from 2pm to 5pm (although Saturday is available for group bookings). Scones with jam and cream mix it up with sweet delights such as colourful macarons and cupcakes. Attracting the well-dressed set, Hotel Nest's focus is on aesthetics, with hotel owner Michelle Matthews describing the event as a pret-aporter high tea. "We are really trying to incorporate both fashion and vintage as themes, so there will be gingerbread-shaped shoes coming up, and shot glasses of raspberry jelly topped with little edible hats." $40 per person (unless you want an additional glass of Veuve champagne). Bookings necessary."
I think this could be fun
It would also be nice to look at doing another High Tea in the park - which is much cheaper than a hightea and just as fun.
