RP Sample? What is that?!

It’s not that I’m shy. I’m not. Really. I’m not shy. I’m just quiet; quiet and afraid. They’re so loud. Everyone’s voices keep echoing in my mind. “Gabriella, get into StanfordYaleHarvard”. “You won’t get into StanfordYaleHarvard without a 4.0 grade point average”. “You’re wasting your time with this music thing”. “No one wants you”. “You’re useless”. “We need you”. “Like kindergarten”. The last voice is a relief to hear. Troy’s voice always makes me feel better. Like kindergarten. It’s nice to finally have someone who will just sit and listen to me. I get to talk for once. He gives me that little bit of confidence to find my voice. “No,” I whisper softly, looking around my empty room. “No.” I smile. I feel a bit better now.

Savanna pushed her bangs out of her eyes once more as she cleaned her room. More of it was her roommates' stuff than hers, but it didn't matter. The small living area was a complete pit and she was desperate to fix that. Throwing dirty clothes in hampers and old assignments in the trash, she let out a soft grunt of disapproval. This wasn't how she wanted to spend her high school years. Alone and miserable hadn't been part of the plan. Then again, nothing had been part of any plan since her mother's death. Not that a death from ten years ago should still haunt a person, but for Anna, it did. Nothing was ever the same after that night, and her brother's made certain of that. She picked up an old, rotten apple core and felt herself gag. It was obviously the roommate's - she hadn't eaten anything in weeks. She looked up at the bed that the girl was sitting in, watching as Anna cleaned the mess, "Would you mind picking up after yourself once in a while?"

Her roommate scoffed and rolled her eyes, returning her attention to the magazine that she'd been flipping through. "God, you're such a bitch," Savanna breathed out, throwing the core onto the girl's bed and storming out of the room, making certain to slam the door behind her. She didn't care if the entire hall knew, it was a Saturday, and if someone was studying or sleeping on a Saturday afternoon, it certainly wasn't about to be her problem. Walking out of the dorm, she took in a deep breath as she drew her hoodie closer to her body and sighed, "Damn, it's cold."
