Wuv. Twu Wuv.

I finished reading The Princess Bride tonight. Yes, it was as good as people said it was. I've seen the movie a few times, so I knew most of the plot, but that didn't make it any less fun to read.

While I was reading the book, I did think that some sections might be a bit violent to be read to children, but overall, it was a great story.

In other news, I had a fantastic pre-Nano meetup this evening. I had one back in September for newbies that wanted more information about NaNoWriMo, and the one tonight had a mixture of new people and experienced Wrimos. I think it went well. A couple people were present that offered to help out by hosting write-ins (away from downtown Vancouver) so I was able to talk to them about that. Also, one woman that showed up said she could probably provide a meeting room for Vancouver-based write-ins. I'll have to follow up with her on that.

In August and September, I was feeling very nervous about NaNoWriMo this year, particularly about being a Municipal Liaison again. But I'm feeling much more relaxed about it now. People have been very eager to help out once I actually spoke up and asked for help.

I'm hoping this turns out to be a good year. Now if only I knew what I was going to write about. Hmmm, how about "wuv"?
