I have been so busy lately, and the saddest thing is that it has been with nothing of greatness, just your typical, little day-to-day crap. Work is fine, home is fine, everything’s fine. Just busy.

Reading now the third book in Thomas Cahill’s series, and it is excellent (just like his two previous ones).
Also, listening to Dido’s new album, “Life for Rent”. She’s great, period.

I actually got to game this past weekend! There was a con down here in Miami, and I managed to get the afternoon off to go geek out. Had fun. I miss gaming more.

Also, been writing lately. Well, more or less. There’s this story I wrote some 2 years ago called “20 Minutes and Streetlights” that has now resurfaced thanks to one of the songs in Dido’s new album (“White Flag” if you are wondering). There’s was something about that song that made me think of the couple in my story, and I found myself discovering that their story was not yet complete. So I have been devising a new story in my head, writing down some experiments to see how this new story is gonna go.
It’s weird how characters one creates sometimes do that, go ahead and keep living beyond whatever life you have given them in the story.
We’ll see how this goes. I think I am getting ready to start writing.

On the Gaming writing front things are slow, very slow. My adventure is now fighting for its life. It won’t be printed due to economics of the publishing company, so I am seeking alternatives, probably with electronic publishing. We’ll see how that goes. Beyond that, I am still enjoying my sabbatical from game writing. I have been tinkering with a personal project I have mentioned before. More on that later, when I am ready to make a formal announcement.

I think that’s all for now. Hopefully one day I will have time to do a real update to my website instead of directing people here for updates.
