Preable:
I hate LJ. HATE HATE HATE it. It is FREAKIN BUGGY. I wrote a blog on BIV on my MySpace blog and I decided to duplicate it here. And I formatted it using my virtually non-existant knowledge of html to make it look pretty and get the picture to work ( Read more... )

Seriously though, I am a social butterfly. I do care about people I meet, but at the same time I never hit an "I've got enough friends" or "I'm staying with this bunch forever[tm]". I know there are heaps of excellent people out there and I want to keep meeting new ones even if it means drifting away from the people I currently know.

I know that if I run into them again then I'll be able to continue our relationship where it left off.

I think I know what you mean. I tend to feel unusually comfortable to people that I've just met (IV as exhibit A) but have a good vibe about really early. But then sometimes I get in trouble for neglecting existing friends...

I like keeping people though.

I completely agree with everything you've said in your post because I felt exactly the same way after my first IV last year (hence my passion and desire to return for BIV this year).

It really was fantastic to have you there at IV this year, and I'm overjoyed that you had such a fabulous time. I'm sorry that I didn't spend more time enjoying the experience with you, but you know, obvious reasons :p
