Looking for 2 Duncan/Methos fics...
...and they happen to be favorites of mine, so any assistance is appreciated!
1. Post-series: Methos/Duncan slash. Methos follows Duncan to a beach house and remains there with him for several days. Might have something to do with the death of a friend. There is cooking involved, slow burn, and a touching sex scene. I believe Joe has just died in this story. Methos and Duncan's joint Quickening causes other Immortals to seek them out, and I remember a scene wherein one of them (Duncan, I think) wakes up because he feels Methos taking a Quickening out on the beach in the very early morning hours. He rushes out and finds Methos still alive, having defended him from an Immortal. They end up taking a car and leaving together, trying to avoid the other approaching Immortals.
2. Post-series again: Methos/Duncan slash. Amanda is in this one, and I think there is another friendly Immortal, too, though I can't remember who it is. The plot features the idea that the Quickenings and the idea of "There can be only one" actually have to do with the joining of souls of living Immortals who share Quickenings, rather than the absorbing of souls from dead Immortals.
