I'm late for Halloween....and Math sucks

Sep 11, 2006 08:56

Well, I just got back from my first "Discrete Mathematics" test...I don't know how well I did. :( It seemed like I was either really sure of the problem or had no frickin' idea as to what was going on. So, we will see.
In other good/sad news...I'm dropping my Contemporary France class with Madame Bordeau (I really hate it because I love her to death as an instructor), but the class is simply kicking my butt. I don't mean to "brag" or anything, but it takes a lot for a class to whoop me. PLUS, I don't think I'd have to drop if I didn't have 2 other really challenging courses (at least for me) this semester: Advanced Composition with Tebbetts and Discrete Mathematics with Sonnier. Math and I are not friends. :(
Another distressing fact...I don't know what I want to be for Halloween. For those of you who don't know...this is very odd indeed. I ALWAYS know what I'm gonna be for Halloween like 6 months in advanced. It's the bestest holiday ever. I tend to go all out. Anyhoo...I'm thinking of the following:

1)Nightcrawler from the Xmen (note: this would be a very difficult costume and/or I would probably look like a complete dork, but I still have an urge for this one)

2)Reprising my Harpo Marx (note: this would be the only time EVER that I have repeated a Halloween costume, but this one was a ton of fun)

3)Fairy (note: as simple as this is and as amazing as it may come to many of you, I have not in fact been a fairy before. Surprising, I know. The cool thing about this one is that I could be any "type" of fairy I want...a seasonal fairy, a fairy of suicide and despair-a little emo/gothy unfortunately-, a fairy queen, a flower fairy, etc...)

Any opinions? Also, my hair is curly now...really curly (and cute) so that may be good to keep in mind. It would work PERFECTLY for Harpo and could of course work for a fairy. Below are pics of Harpo and Nightcrawler for those of you who don't know what they look like

Harpo would be great since it's an easy "thrift store" costume and I play the harp...I could carry my baby harp around with me ALLLLL day. :)

Of course I would have to be a girl version as I cannot hide or add things. ;) But this could be fun to play around with on the day of as dorky as it is. He's very religous AND he can BAMF anywhere....:) It would give me a lot of excuse to tumble around, cartwheel, etc. :)
