You can remove the turret in order to get to him. This also gives a small view of what the structural interior looks like.
It's hard to tell, but the stud here is actually chrome-colored! And I have two extras!
I really like some of the layering work in this model. You'd build one layer of detail and then add another plate with a hole in it to get the proper effect
The landing ramp is really nicely put together, it has like a three-part hinge that allows it to lower straight down, but still stay closed.
