(no subject)
Today was so cool. After school I had some rehearsals, and when I got to the Fitton Center for Greater Miami Youth Symphony practice, Mr. Stanberry was having heart trouble. (That is NOT the cool part for those of you who are wondering) His doctor had ordered him to not conduct until next week so he took volunteers from the orchestra to give it a try. I was very nervous but my trombone friend made me go up there, and then I conducted part of a piece! It was such a rush. Conductors are sooo powerful, I want to be one so bad. Mr. Stanberry told me I did a pretty good job, and that I should try it out at school (Field Commander). Woo-Hoo!
