(no subject)
I got the most whacked out gifts. Actually, only one is weird. I went to my grandma Imogene's last night to get together with my 'other' family and they gave me 50-60 dollars in gift certificates. Then I opened my mom's gift to me and she got me a tan army looking backpack and a gold trumpet mouthpiece that I wanted. (I already knew that was coming.) Then I go to open my uncle's present. Inside I find 6 small knives and 1 really huge knife with a 8 and 1/2 inch blade! Everyone got knives for Christmas, Les collects them by ordering them off of t.v. I thought my grandma was going to freak when I brought them home but she was pretty cool about it. My dad made me give him the rabbit skinning one lol.
I have so much crap to do this break and I can't find time to do it! I have to read The Jungle and write this huge multi-genre paper but my family is here and I have to entertain them. I will have only 6 days to do that stuff after they leave! That's not really that bad but I'm lazy and that doesn't give me much time to procrastinate. And Sarah has a huge science fair project due after her break is over so I am helping her with that. It's so boring around here and I can't leave because our street is an ice rink. I want to get out of the house soooo bad.
