OOC: Info for chains-of-grace
Derrick is a graphic design major at some at the moment undecided college, which will be worked out when I plot with people to find out where he'll be living. He's a major geek, and heavily involved in D&D. He's also openly gay and into karate.
He is a strong advocate for the rights of any individual, be it human, angel, gay, straight, male, female, etc, and so Derrick starts an angel's rights movement on campus, since the gay-straight alliance had plenty of members and angels had no representation at all. At the moment, the organization is in its early stages, but he has high hopes for its success.
He lives in a dorm on campus, but spends time with his family when he can. His mother works in politics, and his father teaches physics at the school Derrick attends. He gets to see him much more often than his mother, who's often busy and is a workaholic.
At twenty two, Derrick's ready to make a difference in the world, and is pouring all the energy not devoted to schoolwork or 'killing monsters' into activist movements, following in his mother's footsteps. He can't stand to see injustice and not take a stand.
