Now there's a wonderful human being in there somewhere, right?

He'd be dangerous if he could get one person to agree with him, but with an ideology as cracked as that, I can't imagine he'd find much help...unless he went to a Rev Jim Phelps rally.

Maybe we need to start a Manifesto Outreach Program for the terminally stupid and misguided. I can see it now, a nice large building with many offices, where we'd suss out the beliefs of these people and try to make constructive use of them. Or not. Hahaha.

This is what I believe...class systems. Unlike other countries, here we can rise out of them, but it takes government to help keep us trapped. I've risen out of the lower classes and into the middle classes, but have now fallen into stagnation. I want college more than anything to further my career plans in the performing arts, but without money for college and without a full-time job that allows for this, I remain stuck in the working class amber. If I lacked shame, I could exploit some minority tuition assistance, but truth be told, I don't find myself in much relation with the race I was born into.

The guy in the chatroom can piss and moan and shake his rattle at the world all he wants, but in the end all he is espousing is a conventional bourgeousie mentality. Those that don't start out at the bottom have no clue how dulling life is from that end. They don't get shuttled around through social programs or lumped into classrooms with the children of welfare parents, just because they're from a lower tax bracket.

If he wants his nebulous 28%, then he can choose not to pay it...it's called tax evasion. They put people in prison for that. If he had any guts, this is what he would do, instead of crying over these dollars he's never even seen and where they're going to.

That kind of apathy is appalling. But we all do it everyday on some level. When I click quickly past Springer, I am reminded of a life I narrowly escaped, but at the same time feel trapped and angry at the fact that some people will never find the way out because there are no real breaks for them. Pacify them with food stamps and HUD housing, but do nothing to feed their heads and give them the imagination that there is a better life. And meanwhile, we see money wasted on rich imbeciles like Paris Hilton. A life of privilege is often wasted on the children of the wealthy. Was disgusted at ads for her second season of "the simple life"..."is that really a trailer park?". No, it's a set, Paris. People don't really live like that. We're too stupid of a society to move on from these class systems.

In our time, I think only one person has gotten it all right; Mother Teresa of Calcutta. She gave of herself without question to the poor and downtrodden of this world. That's fortitude of character. Declaring onself an unwilling participant in a rape and then supporting a rape victim's choice to bear a child, then using it as tactics to fortify their pro-life jingoism is as low as it gets. He is a willing participant because a rape like that lasted 9 months. If he were sodomised in an alley and had developed a condition that could last close to a year or have it treated and be done with it right away, he wouldn't think twice about the treatment. Pro-lifers might argue that a human is not a condition, but they're not the ones getting interfered with by strangers and then suffering the added misfortune of carrying the strangers progeny. There is no benefit or nobility to carrying that child, just a culture of fear.

So, whatever, I'm glad I didn't talk to him 'cos I would've wanted to wring his neck. He can br Gay and Republican if he wants. And i can be the first mexican gay man to be part of that gentleman's organisation that likes to wear the funny pointy pillows on the head. Tacos and cross burnings, sounds like quite the evening. And also, I wanna see the RSVPs when he invites his Rep buddies to his wedding. Nevermind, he'd see some sort of economid downfall in allowing our kind to marry, he'd probably vote against gay marriage.

rant rant rant. -Tremere
