I’m feeling so restless
with you half a world away.
I guess I should’ve expected this.
It all goes by as slow as molasses,
but I still think of you everyday.
I’m feeling so restless.
Brightness and smiles barely exists
Because all my colors fade to black and grey.
I guess I should’ve expected this.
My world is so dark without your kiss
And my skin and my sweaters unravel and fray
Because I’m feeling so restless.
I guess there’s only so much I can miss,
but still, my soul feels like an ashtray.
I guess I should’ve expected this.
And I’m forever filled with bliss
when I think that you’ll come back one day.
But I still feel so restless;
I guess I should’ve expected this.
