So...season 7...

Wow, I haven't kept up with LJ at all, have I.  I've been lurking though.  Don't think you've gone unnoticed, flist.  I've been watching you from the shadows....

*ahem*...Now, business!

I've done something different with season 7 that I didn't do with the premier of season 6.  I've remained completely and utterly indifferent.  Successfully so, even.  I've not watched any preview clips, I've not read any spoilers, I've only glimpsed spoiler pictures whilst scrolling down my tumblr dash and barely given those a fleeting thought.  I'm not any less passionate about the show and the characters, I'm just...letting things happen and going with whatever's given to me.  I'm not dwelling on events that've happened, and I'm not spending all my time predicting any story lines.  I did that a lot with the first half of season 6, and that's why each and every episode was a disappointment.  Not because the episodes were crap, but because I'd thought about them too much, and none of them could have ever lived up to what I'd dreamed up in my head.  Everything was just a let-down.  So I swore I wouldn't let that happen in season 7, and so far it's been a huge success.

Now, granted, I think these first 2 episodes of the season are just overall technically better than what we were given in season 6, but still, I think my plan to just "roll with it" has helped as well.

I have no huge thoughts, flailing or otherwise, to discuss, just...these:

1. Mark Pellegrino
2. Castiel will be back.
3. Sam/Lucifer
4. Wincest.  Everywhere.
5. Sam is in love with Cas.  Always.
6. So is Bobby.
7. Mark Pellegrino
8. Julian Richings
9. Mark fucking Pellegrino
10. Adam?  Remember him?
11. What about Jimmy?  Ringing any bells?
12. No?
13. Okay then.
14. Jared is very large.
15. Leviathan!Cas is basically just Misha Collins
16. 2 episodes in and I've already screamed "KISS YOUR BROTHER" at my tv.
17. I call that a success.
18. "If you're gone I swear I'm gonna strap my Beautiful Mind brother into the car, and drive us off the pier."  Thelma and Louise style, baby.  That's the Winchester way.  Oh god all the Wincest.  So much Wincest.  I can't even.
19. And the whole thing with the trenchcoat and the Dean keeping it and the angst ooohhhhh the angst and my Destiel heart will Destiel forever.
20. Amen.

In all seriousness though, as much as I loved season 6.  And I did.  I loved it.  A lot.  Season 7 is already a thousand times better.

Mainly because of the Pellegrino.
