15. Biggest Hope for Season 3
Really, my wish is simple: just keep doin' what you're doin'. Season 1 grabbed me like no other cop show has ever had the ability to do before. Season 2 hooked me; I am invested, heavily. Season 3 needs to be more of the same, or a slow evolution if anything. If they try and change it up too much and too fast I'm going to get defensive and lose interest.
As far as individual storylines, the only one I'm really interested in seeing any big changes in is Sammy's. I'd like to see him stand up and take control of his marriage, get Tammy under control, or leave her. He should have left her long ago, but Sammy's a fighter, so he's going to fight for his marriage, but it's getting to a point where I feel like he's too good for her and I really just want to see her out of his life. I'm starting to get protective of him (what is it with me and characters named Sam? *facepalm*), and I don't want to see him get hurt.
Cooper....I'm just interested in seeing more of his backstory. He's an interesting character.
Sherman. Hmm. I foresee a big love-interest storyline in his future, and I'm sort of "meh" about it. I'm not huge on love stories unless your names are Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, but so far I haven't been turned off by the addition of another female into his life, so I'm sort of indifferent at the moment. I didn't like Daisy, but she obviously didn't last very long, and this new girl is in his line of work, so therefore understands the "what" and "why" that will inevitably come up in the relationship, and basically she hasn't pissed me off yet, so I'm not cutting her off just yet. I'm just going to sit back and see what happens. Hopefully I like it.
Everyone else *shrugs*. I'm not that concerned with everyone else's storyline. I love all the other characters, but I'd rather just watch and see what happens, rather than try and come up with something I'd like to see happen. I want to watch from the sidelines rather than play the game.
So basically, season 3, stay the same and be awesome, yeah? Okay.
