*Minho shot up his glance from his laptop and knew from the knock that it was Key. After living together for years he really knew the other's habits and how he did everything. He walked over to the door and opened it, offering a small smile before letting him come in*

Hi... Would you like something? Juice? Water? Cola?

*He asked softly with a hint of humbleness as he really felt sorry for the other member to come all the way here*

*Key nodded as he headed into the hotel room*

Water, please.

*He sat down on the sofa in the room and waited for Minho to join him, feeling somewhat uncomfortable; he felt like he had to convince Minho to come back to Korea with him... but he knew it was going to be hard, and Minho would fight him every inch of the way*

*Minho got Key a glass of water before sitting down on the sofa with him, taking a deep breath he looked at his band member, with regretful eyes*

I'm sorry that you have to come all the way here for me, Key. I'm really sorry about this, but I just needed to do this. I really had to... I couldn't control my feelings anymore...

*He said in a low and quiet voice as he lowered his head, combing some hair away from his face and sighing at the same time*

*Key looks over at him with a serious gaze, cradling the glass of water in his hands, though he doesn't sip at it yet*

Minho-ah, whatever the reason was that you left... my problem with you was you didn't tell me. Or anyone, really. You were suddenly gone, and you have to understand that we were worried about you...

*he sighs and runs a hand restlessly through his hair*

...When did you start having these feelings?

*Minho looked at Key with apologetic eyes when he listened to him speak. He had to sigh at his words and look down at the floor again

*Key didn't know what to do or say... and normally he had an opinion about every situation. The right thing to do of course was to convince Minho that he was being foolish and to take him back home, back to the rest of SHINee, back to their activities. At the same time, however, Key wasn't stupid, he could see the honesty in the other boy's eyes, hear it in his voice, and it wasn't something he could simply ignore*

I wouldn't have laughed. I don't ever want you to feel like you can't tell me something, Minho.

*his voice was quiet, he was still a little hurt at being kept out of the loop, especially since beneath all his anger at Minho for leaving, it had just come down to the fact he'd been worried about the rapper, and had wanted to help him. This was not something he could help with, however*

What will you do when you have to come back?

*Minho shook his head when Key asked him what will he do when he comes back, sighing deeply and feeling like crying*

I seriously don't know. We can't be in public and it would be hard to even meet. And if fans find out about us they would blame on Tiffany and I don't want any fans after her. I would want to live a peaceful life but in Korea it's impossible... I want to be with her as long as I can and when I told our manager that I needed a vacation he granted me two weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do after that... I have to return I guess, but my heart hurts to even think about us being apart. Now that I finally have her as my own to own and hold... I don't know...

*He lowered his head and covered his face with his hands as he broke into silent tears, his heart hurting so much at the thought of being away from her. He really cared about her and had deep feelings towards her and he can't just put them aside and continue his normal life. That's not how human beings work. He can't control who he is...*

*It hurt Key to see his friend in so much pain. He shifted closer to Minho on the couch and put an arm around his shoulders, drawing the other boy in against him in a comforting embrace. The worst part was that he had to admit Minho was at least partially right; if he had come to Key and explained his feelings for Tiffany to him, Key would probably not have believed him. He wouldn't have laughed, but it was only now that he saw how serious it was, and how sincere Minho was*

*he murmured thoughtfully, as he ran his fingers soothingly along Minho's back, deciding that, at least for now, he had to support his bandmate*

I think maybe I need to meet with Tiffany along with you... and we need to talk about this. I'm guessing our manager-hyung doesn't even know about this? We're going to have to seriously consider what you two can do when you have to leave here.

*Minho rested against Key's shoulder and hugged him tight, being completely lost what he would do now. He sighed heavily when he listened to what the other had to say, listening carefully and nodding*

He doesn't know... I only told him that I need to go and visit my sick grandfather here in Japan and he granted me to go. He doesn't know that I have feelings for Tiffany and god knows what he does when he finds out. I don't even want to scare myself with that kind of thoughts. But yeah I'll discuss about this with Tiffany and maybe we can meet tomorrow. I'm having a romantic dinner with her today that I prepared for her so I think this can wait until tomorrow.

*He said softly and broke away from Key, placing a hand on his shoulder as he gazed into his eyes with a light smile*

Don't bother your thoughts about this, we'll figure things out together...

*His voice is sincere as he holds the other's gaze*

I will stay in Japan for now, Minho... and if there's anything I can do to help you, you can come and find me. Bring Tiffany along too, at some point. You know I want you to be happy and if we can discuss the situation and try to figure out a way around the problems you're going to face.

*Already his mind is racing, trying to predict what the situation would be like if fans found out about Minho and Tiffany and what they could do to avoid a catastrophe*

Don't be afraid to ask the DBSK-sunbaes for help too. You have a lot of friends here at the moment... I won't let anyone interfere, but you can come and find us if you need us.

*Minho listened to Key really carefully and nodded along, sighing softly when he finished*

I'm just afraid if I tell anyone else it would find it's way to the press and be all over the news. Then we would be in trouble and I don't want troubles like that.

*He took a deep breath and looked outside, smiling a little*

I'm glad you came here, Key... I don't think I would have known what to do when I have to return in a week or two... I'll talk about this with Tiffany and we'll figure out something by ourselves too... Because I need to know her ideas too...

*He said softly with a warm smile as he turned to look at Key, pulling him in a manly hug*

Do you think calling others could wait? I mean telling about me and Tiffany... If they hear from you that you found me and that I'm okay should be enough...

Of course. Jonghyun can't keep secrets, so telling them would be a bad idea. I won't let anyone know, and if they ask I'll back up your original story.

*returning the hug warmly, Key then drew back and grinned at him*

I'm still in shock, but I'm happy for you. The fact that you're willing to face the hardships that will come with your decision tells me that you have your heart set on this... and I'm willing to back you up on it. You don't have to worry. But keep in mind...

*he put on a stern expression, though he was mostly teasing*

No more secrets, hmm? You know I'll find out.

*Minho nodded and smiled widely at Key, lifting his pinky to make a promise*

*He grinned before standing up to go to his kitchen, getting himself a glass of water before returning to Key. He took a gift box from his pocket and opened it for him, showing him a necklace with an initial 'M' in it and taking his own out with an initial 'T', grinning widely*

I'm giving this to Tiffany, because it's too soon to give hearts and all kinds of other jewelry with some engraving in it so I decided to give this... To symbolize that where ever she goes I'm with her and where ever I go I have her with me... I'm using those words, how's that?

*He had to ask the other's opinion since he's never done this before*

*Key buried his face in his hands and laughed softly*

I want to say that it's so corny, but... I'm jealous, hahah. With everything you show me and everything you say, I'm more and more convinced that you have your heart set on this.

*He sighed and looked carefully at the necklaces; they were cute and subtle, fans probably wouldn't spot them too easily and try to find out the meaning behind the initials*

*Minho grinned and looked at the necklaces, nodding at Key's words*

I hope she'll like them too. I'm giving this to her tonight so let's see what she thinks. We're really getting along so well together that it's like a dream for me. Of course there will be ups and downs too, but right now I'm content with every moment I have with her...

*He grinned widely before putting the necklace back into it's box, securing it in his pocket before rubbing his hands together a little, gazing at Key*

I should start preparing for tonight you can stay if you like or I'll call you tomorrow and we can meet up again...

*Key stood up from his seat on the couch and stuck his hands in his pockets*
