With livejournal getting quieter and quieter, I think it's time to start openly and randomly posting controversial opinions. Opinions such as "leggings are pretty fucking awesome."
Do I care that they're "not really pants"? No.
Do I even really feel like "wearing pants"? Nooooo.
Over the past few months I have gained yoga/jogging-specific leggings, leggings for wearing around the house (sadly not cashmere) and leggings for under long sweaters. So non-restricting! TJ Maxx might need a thank you letter for cheaply selling Green Apple products. Green Apple, man. I think I will buy stock in the company and then sell it for more leggings, bwahahahaha!
If comfortable leg wear is the price going mad from too much goddamn work, then I accept it. (I'd like to reject the other prices from said madness, though. Please and thank you.)
However, if anyone uses the word meggings anywhere within my hearing, I will have them struck down. And struck down quickly.
Next controversial opinion: Felipe Andrade should not be the artist for DeConnick's Captain Marvel. Bad match!
