GW drabble; Happy Chinese New Year

Characters: Wufei, Duo, Trowa

Year of the Rat
Duo approached the lunch table grinning, his arms full of very non-Preventers regulation firecrackers. "Happy New Year, Wufei!"
Wufei surveyed Duo's offerings with an air of distaste. "It's not the new year."
"It is on Earth!" His grin was faltering.
"I'm not even from Earth."
"Oh, just take the damn fireworks, Chang!" Duo dumped them onto the table and stomped off to see if anything edible was left for lunch.
Trowa leaned over and snagged a lion-shaped firecracker from the pile. "You really like messing with him, don't you?"
"Like you wouldn't believe," Wufei agreed solemnly, retrieving the pilfered lion.
