Daft Acronym Club Readings!

So my granny broke her hip *sigh* And my mother rang me in a bad mood because no one had told her my granny had broken her hip, even though they've been not talking since forever. I know my grandad wants to sell the house and go into a home, because he's been feeling his age since the whole aneurysm/pneumonia affair, but GM doesn't want to go anywhere. Maybe this will make her think about it some more... Though she does tend to steamroller my grandad, being twice his height and approximately five times his weight, poor old grandad :(

In other news, BFSFS are having a series of readings in the Commercial Rooms in the looong run-up to the release of Future Bristol. Colin Harvey is reading next Monday, then next month it's my turn, then Gareth Lyn Powell and Nick Walters (I think he's hoping to bring it to a climax with the actual Star Power of Liz Williams, but that might depend on the convention circuit) So if anyone wants to come along and listen to us make an exhibition of ourselves, you're more than welcome! Newcon 4 was fun, but hard work. We were in a bad spot, essentially in a corridor, and when we arrived after a fight with Northampton ring road that nearly resulted in our squishy deaths when bacchinalia fell spectacularly afoul of the one-way system, some bugger had pinched our table. But we did sell some cds, and had a pretty sucessful Match it for Pratchett raffle, AND got to hang out with katalyah, so it wasn't a total loss. Thinking about going to Aetherica in Chester now, though Colin is still going on about Eastercon. Don't think I can afford both!

So, in the spirit of "Lets help Joey get to Eastercon!", I'm happy to announce that all three of my books currently have a 50% Micropay Rebate on Fictionwise (meaning if you buy one ebook, you get half the cost back as a Fictionwise voucher to spend on other ebooks - more books is always good - I should say this is paying by credit card only). Which makes all three the bargainous price of $2.99 each (about £1.50, ish, depending on the current exchange rate, which could be anything!)

Could use some more ratings from any lovely readers on "Eagle" too. You know you want to :)
