Watching some TV last night. Chris wanted to play guitar hero, but I got sucked into the repeat of "The Doctor's Wife", which is my favourite Who episode of the last season. When it finished, he was still messing about with the washing up, so he decided to flick to another channel, something I wouldn't start watching and not be able to tear myself away from (so not "Friends" either then!)
He found the Proms, on BBC4, at that shuffly bit where they've just finished a song and are about to launch into the next one. "There you go!" he declared, in triumph. "You'll never get sucked into that!"
At which point the orchestra launched into the opening bars of... the title theme from Star Wars :D Followed by Schindler's list and "Hedwigs Theme" from Harry Potter.
Prom 38 is the Film Music Prom -

And the boy turns to me as the last bars die away, offers up a rueful grin, and asks if I could fetch some ketchup to go with his hat....
