Tomorrow I'm off to Austin for the weekend to celebrate Megan's 21st birthday, however belated it may be. Since both of us are sans car, we're doing a little rental thing so that my pup Ed can make the trip with us. Along with going to Austin, I will be making a stop sometime during the weekend to the post office so that I can finally send off the L.A. trip pictures that I took to aethyrkitten. Considering it's only taken me a month and a half, this is good news.
I finally got Sims2, and have played it for a total of.....fifteen minutes. Nice, considering I used to be glued to the screen whenever I played that game. I'm not really doing much else.. I'm a pretty lazy person. I did some artwork(miracle!), played a little guitar(which has been waning), and slept alot.
I'm supposed to help 6th graders with math and science next weekend. Considering most of my tutoring attempts with my neice when she was in the sixth grade ended up with both of us being frustrated/annoyed with each other, I think it should be pretty interesting. I would be yelling "WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?! I EXPLAINED IT SEVENTEEN TIMES!" And she would be yelling back "I DON'T KNOW!"
..that probably sounds wrong of me though. To yell at a 6th grader like that, haha. But if only you knew. My neice is 12 going on 23. She's also on the football team in her middle school. So pro-active ;D Considering she wears size negative xml594er, I was surprised that they let her on the team. I hope they pad her up well. I'm not against her doing it, just worried for her safety. Some of those guys can be pretty big kids for 7th graders.
