Well, I've started posting here again semi-regularly, and despite the fact that no one talks anymore, I still habitually lurk on #mog_heaven at work. Do you use any other IM software?

I use xfire to chat with people while I'm playing games, and I occasionally hop onto gmail/gtalk and have a chat with a few people.

I've not been in IRC for ages, though.

Ahem. I want to see Golden Compass too sometime, just not got round to cinema lately. The clips I've seen don't seem quite as magical as the books, but then, I don't trust film critics anymore either, so we'll see. It'll be fun, whatever happens. It'll have talking animalllls.

I agree, the clips don't make me horribly fascinated. The whole reason I wanted to see it before I read the books was the talking animals, haha. xD

book > movie in most instances, yeah
can't get the emotional connection to the characters in 2hours, or get the watcher to percieve what you want like the book does :D
though, there are exceptions... I won't mention any, because I know I'll get hanged if I said it.

so! apparently a german shepherd/husky mix is the cutest thing in the world? i LOVE the picture of him behind a table/chair leg thing, so adorable, and nice posing from oscar meyer, and just general brilliance overall for animal stories! and yes, get kittens! more is best!
