Texans cannot drive on ice. It's a known fact. When we get a sprinke of precipitation on the ground during winter, we all panic and close everything down. Before, I was a cynic. I made fun of the dumb texans while rejoicing in the time that I got to spend free of responsibility. Until two days ago. When I slid on ice. If David knew, he'd say it was ( Read more... )

Isn't ice driving FUN?! I was an Oklahoma ice driver. *nodnod*

Sims 2! I want that for the holidays so I can make a family of Mog_Heaven people too! Or just get whoever I want for a boyfriend without the annoying effort. Ha. I'll end up getting it for myself cause I'm impatient. *snick*

Glad you're ok, even close-calls are scary in cars. o.o

Ooo, I can't wait to hear how your family ends up. There were too many of us for me to really follow everyone. I need to build up to being able to handle that many sims in one house. ;3

Step off the gas, turn steadily but gently such that you correct the skid. If you need to brake and have ABS, just keep steady force on the brake pedal (DON'T pump). Key is to just stay calm.

.... I really had no idea what to do if I skid on ice. Thanks, Driver's Ed.

I can't even tell you how many times we slid out. We live in Duncanville. We work in Addison. The only way to get to Addison is the Tollway and of course the corporate demons that we worked for demanded that we come in or lose our jobs. It was awful. I wanted snow, not ice! :\

Oh jeebus. I live on UTD campus, only about 10 minutes away from Colin Creek Mall and I had that run-in. I can't imagine how it was for you. And snow, snow would be wonderful.

Yes, I'm a big wuss. But that's okay, since when I visit you(you know, when I get money EVER), you can show me the right way to do it. ;)

I hate to say it... but asian woman drivers are scary... :x
ALL the asian women drivers I've passengered with try to blooming multitask 5 different things while driving a small bit higher than the speed limit (just a small bit *eye twitch*)
and the only time I've ever gotten car sick was with my mum's driving, she's better than the others I've riden with (prejudice aside), she doesn't multitask while driving... but she overuses the accelerator and brakes, it just bunny hops sometimes and if it bunny hops enough (back and forth) I get sick... very sick... like the pirate ship ride, where you're swung back and forth in large continuous motion... I can't stand it. (or rather, my stomach can't and just makes me sick)

holy christ, suicide and starvation XD
I thought that wasn't possible in that game... oh well, some people have a gift for finding the impossible ;)

hahaha, my mom scares me sometimes when we drive together. I always insist on driving. I don't really buy into the stereotype much, but David always has to say something chauvinistic to irk me. ;)

bad david!!

I don't take on stereotypes either... kinda stupid in my opinion...
but when I see my relatives who come here (Hong Kong to New Zealand), they drive insane! I literally hold onto the door of the car, in case we crash or something.. >.>;;

My dad drives awesome! he can go two times the speed limit and still turn corners as smooth as if we were on cruise control. I think it was because he used to race his car back then... he never admits it, but has hinted XD
