the rainbow of lanterns
I've already posted my thoughts about the Green Lantern movie, but it spurred me to research in Wikipedia. Again. This time the information I looked for was about the colors. I mean, if there's a Green Lantern, is there a Blue Lantern?
The answer is yes. There is an entire emotional spectrum of colors, which have their own meanings. I'll list them down here, because I loved the idea.
Red - Rage
Orange - Avarice
Yellow - Fear
Green - Willpower
Blue - Hope
Indigo - Compassion
Violet - Love
White - Creation
Black - Death
The negative ones produce some very creepy Lanterns. And don't be fooled by the violet one, it may be powered by love, but it's not necessarily the pure form of it.
I think it'd still be much cooler being a Green Lantern, anyway.
