the new thing: ncis
So. As much as I still like the Chlollie, I've found something new to obsess about: NCIS.
I first saw the show when my friend Ri lent me a DVD of a few episodes, and I liked it right away. (More so than CSI.) When I saw that it was being shown on local TV, I watched it, though wasn't able to do so regularly. But these few months I was in Sydney, there weren't many TV shows that I was familiar with, but they had NCIS! And it was shown two back-to-back episodes on Tuesdays, with older season's episodes on Fridays. (There was also Burn Notice, which I also love, but this post is about NCIS, sheesh.)
At any rate, that got me to reading NCIS fanfiction. In Sydney, I had started reading some Tony/Ziva fic. Now that I'm back home, however, I've found that there's something I like even more: Gibbs/Tony father/son fic. Romance fics with my liked pairings are lovely, but I am a complete sucker for family-type stories. There are so many touching and well-written stories out there. (Even in Fanfiction.Net, where I've spent hours and hours this past weekend.)
And yet, there's more... Earlier this evening, my brother came home with DVDs of all seven seasons of NCIS! For me! (He likes the show, too, but I know he deliberately bought the DVDs knowing that I was crazy about it.)
I can't wait to start watching! ^_^
