I just felt like writing that. Because I am a mad scientist. Or writer. Or just mad, really.
The good news is that I finally finished my ficlet for team7's mile-long pole fic challenge. Here I'd thought that I wouldn't be able to make it on time (what with the enormous amount of procrastination), but I managed to post it two days early. 'Course, it didn't turn out anything at all like the fic idea that popped up when I first read the challenge. At least it was still in the fandom I had intended to write in. This last week my first idea went haywire and reached a fork in the road that went in ten different directions, so I got stuck. I tried to write something else in another fandom, but that didn't work either. I'm not really sure why; I just couldn't find the right words. Then this little ficlet got itself written in the early hours of this morning (which means that I only got to sleep at around 4 am.)
Aptly titled It Just Happened, the ficlet is for Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Bet no one saw that coming. ::grins sheepishly:: It's a bit more serious than the title sounds, though. Plus it's not a shipper fic... well, not directly. It's a missing scene between the Bradley brothers, Blake and Hunter. But being me, I couldn't help the Blake/Tori slant. Especially as the Ninja Storm series itself makes it so easy to be mushy.
