Last week I had some pain in my lower bottom area, around where I would think my tail bone was... So I called the advice nurse and they had me come in for a check. The midwife that saw me, was super to say the least, did the check, and had me do a nonstress test. Robert was so bored, I felt so bad. lol Anyways, the baby was fine, and Robert got to hear the baby's heart "beep" and he even heard his own with the doppler. :P He got to see the baby when they did the U/S part of the nonstress test.
The baby was doing his practice breathing and the nurse was very happy to see him do that for as long as he was. I guess sometimes it's hard to catch them doing that, let alone long enough to actually know that's what they are doing. She told me to stay home for a couple days and have my feet up. lol Easier said than done. Anyways, she wanted me to come back this week for another check as to be sure I wasn't starting the labor early. That was last Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday I was at work, and mom called saying Robert was violently getting sick everywhere. He had gone to the vet with her and did it three times in their office, and even did it in the transportation van. He had been doing it since the middle of the night but she couldn't get a hold of me. So I went home and took care of the bubster.
That same day he had his first pyschiatrist apt which went EXTREMELY well I think. His pyschiatrist kept trying to get Robert to play, but he didn't want to, and I reminded him that he isn't feeling well, so the next visit may be different. Robert had just thrown one of his major fits at the Speech Therapist the day before, the pyschiatrist was seeing if he would do it again, and what would make him do it. Robert was obviously not feeling well, because he kept cuddling to me, when usually he doesn't want anything to do with me, when there are new toys to explore. :P So anyways. We have a return visit around the 23rd of Feb. :) Speech is on the 14th.
Anyways, Robert gave my mom the flu and she had it over the weekend so she was over here so I could make sure she had the fluids she needed, because she couldn't get to the store on her own. Last night John woke up and now he is sick. He called in sick today, and doesn't know if he will be going to work tomorrow. I hope this is done. :P
I had my OB apt yesterday and my glucose test. Everything came back normal, which is awesome. The baby has gone through a significant growth spurt and is sitting low in my pelvis, so my OB thinks that explains the pressure I had last week. He is having me go to another Ultrasound to make sure we aren't measuring too far ahead, and if we are, maybe changing the dates around just to make sure things don't go too far. Considering my LMP due date is three weeks before the first U/S due date. The baby may actually come in the middle of April. The doc also stated if I went into labor in 6-8 weeks, they wouldn't stop the labor, as I would be further enough along that the baby would be okay. I think that's for everyone, not just me. :P
Anyways, my OB is on sabatical now, for the next couple months for my next OB apt will be with the midwife I saw last week, which is cool. :)
I hope everyone's week is going well. *hugs*
Love ya!
