Why, Happy Valentine's Day to you - if it means anything at all in your life.
I have a list a mile long of people to call/write to, and my phone is still not working. BUT - after tomorrow, I will be able to make UNLIMITED calls to the US. So just wait, cause pretty soon I'm going to be bugging the hell out of you.
I had my first job interview in French the other day. For an Irish Pub on my absolute favorite street in the whole city. No way I'm going to get it, but I was proud of myself for getting through it without breaking down and saying: Can you say that in English please? My French is getting SO MUCH BETTER! I didn't even have to ask him to repeat himself once.
Going to Normandy this weekend! Can't wait. Its good that I am finally leaving the city, as there are so many places in the country that I have yet to see (although Paris is the center of the universe). Only problem is that we rented a car - a stick - and I have to drive. In Paris. Yikes. This is yet another thing to add to my list of things I specifically said I'd never do (Quote - drive in New York or Paris) that I've done since I've been here. I just hope I'm alive to follow that one up next week.
