The problem wasn't that I started a five page paper at 11:30 last night. The problem was that I hadn't done any research, and there's only so much you can say about the relationship between instinct and archetype without using outside sources. But I got ahold of a few books, whipped through the thing, and so I'm here in the computer lab wasting some time before Lit. Crit. To make it worse, I had to skip a Pedro show to finish the paper.

I'm in a phase where I'm very biased against critics for some reason. Like sharks to the poor bleeding swimmer. Well, I should rephrase that. I'm biased against a certain type of critic who sucks literature into a sort of dry socket. There is a definate purpose for both the writer and the critic, but the writer, who creates, holds a higher position for me than one who evaluates. I suppose there's a slanted symbiosis here, critics living off of literature, literature responding to the ever changing focuses of criticism. Anyhow.

La la la la la.

Fairly soon I'll be seeing the omni-sexy Mr. Clinton Jones out here in the wild west, where he will join me for thanksgiving revelries and a possible second annual car accident. I think we'll take the bus as much as possible.

Sugar, sugar. Come on honey, honey.

I need to watch a movie tonight. Any suggestions?
