2008 recap...
what a crazy year... well.. end of the year anyway.
highlights...
-going to NYC with Michael Murrell, Alec, Spencer, boy Chris and girl Kris... craziness and a whole lot of art. and a shit ton of walking.. my feet burn just thinking about it.
-soon after Michael retired... which was pretty excruciating. he is missed every single day.
-made the dean's list spring semester.. always exciting.
-spring break consisted of ear infections and strep throat for myself and dad having a mild heart attack.
-went to summer school, which is not at all exciting except that it was my first 4.0 semester, and if you know Miranda Smith, i definitely earned those A's
-i finally had the great George Beasley as a professor. always an honor to be in the presence of a great teacher who is knowledgeable in every way.
-made many many great friends, and met lots of awesome people
-went to new orleans for halloween... many memeories.. and many stories associated with that trip, and i got to see WHITNEY WALLACE!!! my absolute favorite person i met last year in Cyprus.
-rekindled my friendships with some people from high school. Brittney, Kelli, Krystle, Bryana, Markiel (and hopefully a few more in the next few days)
-reunited with my long lost BFF and big sis, Mary-Kate
-reunited with my long lost BFF Ted
-ran into my first boyfriend ever at a bar in Atlanta. holy crap.
-was introduced to HOCKEY by the wonderful KT Cunninghan (thank you sooo much!!!) and became much better friends with the great KT. she's awesome
-spent thanksgiving with long lost BFF MK and her mommy, as well as KT and HOCKEY!
-had an awesome birthday with great friends!
-spent MK's birthday with her... after many many years of missing it completely
-had a merry christmas.. mostly.
I've lost a few things and a few people along the way this year, but i've gained soo much more, i cant help to feel grateful and happy. i grew up a lot this year, so thanks to everyone for putting up with me sometimes!
2009 is sure to be amazing...
