i will be frugal no more

for a very long time now, i have been adding daily to a list of mine titled "songs i want to own" with the intention of someday soon treating myself to a mega-downloading itunes party. today was going to be the big day, but when i sat down to my computer i could not bring myself to drop $80 on the itunes empire for my beloved songs. $80...6.5 hours at the pool! BEFORE taxes! or another overpriced sweater that i dont need! or 25 chicken and bean burritos from annas tacqueria! so what did i do? i regretfully resorted to limewire. not only that, i let my greed take over and attempted to hoard the music of america by proceeding to download 30 songs at once! let me just make it clear to you that this was the mistake of a lifetime. my comp is currently at a higher risk of having a heart attack than i am with my total cholesterol of 250 due to this rapid musical intake. i dont know how to abort this mess because i made it so that everything was in spanish to satisfy my obsession with having latin flavor. a box just came up on my screen that says message on the top, but the only thing that is showing up is a button that says yes. yes is my only option! i can only assume that this is a sympton of a long, slow death. oh no, i just went to it again and the yes button has disappeared! great, just great man. to add to all of this, i will now live in perpetual fear of a) my computer exploding, and/or b) getting arrested for this illegal nonsense. i feel like i am the main character in 1984, except that illegal downloading of kilobytes exists in it. the wonder years theme song just started playong out of NO WHERE. i think its the comps way of saying goodbye. this is what stinginess gets you, my friends.

in other news, bryan caplan has been here. there has been major chilling action, sleepovers at jasons, and reconciliation with adam. oh, to be in 8th grade again. pat has returned from his european excursion, it seems as though prague is quite the city! it has been added to my evergrowing list of travel destinations. we walked to dunkin donuts (more reminiscence of 8th grade!) and then had an outdoor lunch at bertuccis european style. i went on an ultimate shopping trip with good ol' jillikans and failed to find sunglasses that were a match to my favorite ones ever, which of course i ran over with my car. i might be the most amazing person ever. bye.
