There is no worse death than the end of hope.

I am on this plane because I know there is going to be an attack on it. Me and one other person were meant to find the bomb that was going to be planted on it. I was sitting at the front of the plane and he was sitting at the back.  Everything looked to be going smoothly, even though we couldn't find a bomb and there was no one on bored suspicious or making threats. Suddenly the plane is spiraling down very slowly. I go to speak to the captain to see what is happening. He said that he didn't have control of the plane that some one was somehow taking remote control of the plane. Control tower said that someone was threatening to throw us into a building if someone somewhere didn't do as they were asked in time. We were not informed of who the some one somewhere was. I look at my partner at the back. We search for a device that might allow the plane to be controlled remotely but with no luck. Someone somewhere doesn't respond to this threat and the plane's nose connects with the roof of the building. The fire starts, it's in slow motion and I just know there's a way to get out of this. The fire moves slowly, but it's at my feet, hot, melting my shoes and burning my feet. I can feel the flame nearing the rest of my body to take it and it's happening so slowly I'm panicking unsure of what to do. Myself steps in, she says to me, "You are dreaming, this is a dream. You can leave this". I know she's right. I set my mind to walk out of the dream, at first nothing happens, I'm still burning in the flame, but then I'm set free to move. I am completely surrounded by fire, but I walk through it as though I have a protective bubble around me. Strange animated-like (except not really) cats lead from my dream.

I go to work, I'm "opening" if you can call it that at a 24 hour Harris Teeter. One of my supervisors makes a mistake and I correct him. I haven't been there very long and so he's upset with me. Things are odd for a couple of days. The Assistant Manage Bill is acting sort of odd toward me which is unusual because he's generally really nice to me. The supervisor that made a mistake starts asking me questions that I have never been trained to answer, all questions for a manager or supervisor. After several questions I can't answer I tell him, "I don't know anything about that. I'm not trying to take  your job, I don't want it! I'm sorry that I corrected you in front of that customer. I am! But it wasn't a big deal and better to catch it then than later!". He's still angry but he leaves. Everyone sighs in relief, it'll be alright now. Bill smiles, "oh good he was making my life miserable about keeping you around and I really like having you here other than his whining!" Well that explained a lot.

Next day, it's my sisters 18th birthday. She's got this boyfriend who is the nephew of the Mayor, who is also there. I was trying to get a hold of this girl who was a friend of the family. The truth is I really like her and I might just be falling in love and I think she might really like me too. She's supposedly coming to the party if I call her but I haven't been able to get a hold of her. I pray she comes. Suddenly she comes through the door with some of our other friends. She smiles at me and comes quickly over to hug me. We hug, giggle awkwardly look at our friends, while they giggle and smile. Everyone knows except for our respective parents. Everyone is there, including the Mayor. We're singing, she's blowing out the candles, and mom even lets her try a little beer. The police rush over to arrest her crowding our table. My parents get into a "discussion" with the leader while my sister is being given a breathealizer. The mayor and one of the police have a small discussion. The police have made some sort of record and they will be reminding the mayor of the incident they let go with the girl his nephew and ward is dating come time for re-election or an important vote, I can't hear it well enough. The police leave, and the handcuffs on my sister are removed. My parents are pleased that Chelsea got out of trouble they didn't think should have been a problem in the first place, but I know that the Mayor looks wary. I say nothing, as there is nothing to say. Dinner goes on, but a voice tells me that this is my life if certain things hadn't gone the way they did, and Chelsea had never met Mark, the boyfriend who she recently, basically, moved in with.
