Bumming around inside the house, having eyes completely glued to a book (while the rest of your clan are boisterously and blissfully enjoying the explosions of firecrackers) isn't the best way to spend a New Year's Eve, is it?
But that's what I did.
I know.. it's very.. LOSERsome, eh?
And no matter how I put it, what I did still remains as a very LOSERy thing to do.
Well, here's the background.. and it happened years ago (and I really mean YEARS AGO):
My entire family + relatives were outside the house, wanting to simply do the so-called NewYear'sEve rituals - firing firecrackers and enjoying them. Apparently, the supply of wind happened to go slightly beyond its normal state. But even that SLIGHT increase of wind blow can produce some unlikely events.
Such as:
(1)Tilting the firecracker which was peacefully grounded on the roughly cemented road,
(2)Causing its explosion to go EVERYWHERE
(3)Causing a burn on my brother's neck (throat part)
So I guess, you now get what I'm trying to make you see.
I'M TRAUMATIZED BY THE UNCERTAINTIES OF FIRECRACKERS!!!
Isn't that enough excuse to imprison myself inside the house rather than place my own LIFE at stake for just some colorful stuff that paints the dark sky???
I don't know why, but the idea of firecrackers is just absurd. Ridiculous.
Why waste so much money on mere "sky lights"?
Why put your life in danger? (Haha! Paranoia.)
Why???
I don't know why.
I don't know why people continue doing that 'ritual' while thousands of people have been harmed by such crap.
