*quiet, then...* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! *expletive deleted*

I hate, hate, hate, hate, mother fuckin' hate(!!) my student loans.

On the good side, my loan is current, in repayment status, and no longer an inky black dark abyss on my credit report. On the down side, this metamorphosis has decided to take place at exactly the right time to make my loan information locked up until the transformation is complete. Which means that when I need a damn pile of information concerning my loan, documentation, and verification... no one, either with the people that service it or the Dept of Education, is able to access that very information or produce any official documentation faster than 7-10 days (for the only letter than can get), or better than 4-6 WEEKS for anything of substance.

Seriously, after getting this home loan into the final stretch to approval, having something like this happen (while good that it's happening) is causing me to have near aneurysms of anxiety and incipient depression.

Hopefully I can pull some magic out of my ass, or the gods of finance will (for once in my damn life) smile enough to distract the gods of bureaucracy in such a way that everything works out in the end.

Last note on that topic: MOTHERFUCKER.

Oh, warning... this entry may contain strong f'n language.

On other notes... work is proceeding alright. Things are the way they should be, and I'm integrating slowly into the routine. ivyriver is doing well, too... she got some coins from her first time airman's school, some certificates, and even met a few people. I got the chance to meet her shop boss, her supervisor, a few other people. Not too bad. Found out one of the guys in her squadron has >600 confirmed kills. And solidly confirmed, at that. My baby even gets to go do some training this week that involves getting shot (at). She's excited.

And, God-willing, the house will close on Friday. (By close, I mean, it will be ours. Victory!)

Okay, textual explosion complete. Carry on with your normal daily lives.
