Introductions
Mmm, well this is my first ever post on LiveJournal. Ain't that special? I'm still working on getting all the controls under wraps and what-not but I do have a bit of knowledge when it comes to code so hopefully it will work out ;)
Anyway, the only reason I am posting and entry at this time is so I can see how it looks on the layouts and all. So, in the interest of filling space feast your eyes on my very-mini-bio! O_O
Basically I just go by my Internet name (in this case Hidden Intentions or hidenintentions) but I figure it can't hurt so if you wish you can refer to me under the name Sam ;) At the moment I don't have a lot of interests and such to list. The reason for this is that the few that I -do- have take up so much of my time that I don't have room for much else. For example I volunteer at my local Humane Society four days a week. There I serve primarily as a dog bather/groomer/handler, except on Sundays when I either take dogs for walks or test them in the 'Canine-Ality' program. I work mainly with the dogs, but occasionally am known to take a break and spend some time with the kitties, they just aren't my main interest. Over all I just go where I'm needed ;) Another interest of mine that takes up a lot of time is reading. I know, how geeky can you get, right? I just -love- reading. My favorite genera being the mystery/murder category. I've also been known to enjoy the occasional thriller/horror type book. Some of the authors I regularly read are Susan Conant and Stephen King, along with many many other authors that I read from time to time. I also just discovered Karin Slaughter and so far I have really liked her books. Part of this comes from how easily I become attached to different characters. I am a fast reader and will often complete books within a day or so of getting them. At this point if it was one I enjoyed I like to listen to the book on tape. For me its always fun to hear the book 'come to life' in a whole other way besides just my imagination. Other things that remain important to me are my art (http://dakota-spirit.deviantart.com/ folks ;) ), Horseback Riding, spending time with my buddies and just generally keeping myself sane. Music is also a big part of my life. I turn to it a lot to make myself either feel better or just for entertainment. Though I stay mostly in the country genera (I know I know, boo country) I am learning to check out new things :P
I think thats about it for now. This should be long enough to serve its purpose and hey y'all got a tiny glimpse into my life. Snazzy, no?
