My horoscope for this week:
If you've ever contemplated taking a trip to Bora Bora or Pago Pago, now might be a good time to actually go. That's because you're in a "seeing double" phase -- a time when magic will come through repetition, and via duplication, and while you're in the throes of imitation. To take maximum advantage of the dualistic cosmic rhythms, don't seek just one of anything. Don't do anything just once. Two is where the power lies. Pairing brings potency.
Two is where the power lies. Pairing brings potency.
What a creepily accurate horoscope! On Monday, May 24, I asked the most wonderful woman if she would spend her life with me, and she said yes! Katie and I are engaged! After the most perfect, lazy beach bum day full of colouring, sunbathing, delicious food, and even more delicious scenery, we came home and collapsed into our bed, drained by the sun. A truly perfect day. I was in one of those ethereal, blissful states, daydreaming of future plans while coinciding in my existence in that perfect moment. I asked her if she would be my wife, simple and sweet, and she said yes - I've been on cloud 999 ever since. A whirlwind of potency through pairing, just as my horoscope predicted. Warm, liquid love heating my blood, filling up all the spaces in my body, my heart, my mind, my soul. When you know, you know, right? So true, you really do know.
She called her family, which all are very excited. Everyone wants to know the details, but we aren't very intricate to figure out - simple and sweet. So in love, excited for the present and the future to come. I gain a wonderful family, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and step siblings in tow, nieces, nephews, mothers and fathers, wonderful people who express their love. My mom expressed hesitant excitement, but that isn't anything that I didn't expect. My brother Steven is happy, my brother Scott fell off the face of the Earth apparently. I haven't told my dad yet, I'm still simmering in my mind on how to share my joy with him so that he can see it for what it is, past the labels of sexuality and societal stereotypes. All they need is time.
For now, I am blissful. Truly, totally, and completely blissful.
