Another Real Life Update

Aug 28, 2011 13:44

I've seen Captain America as well. And I saw Fright Night with Layne...I think that's all the movies I've seen so far that I did not mention. Summer time = all the movies come out gah!

I start classes next week. I'm rather intimidated because I have not been in classes for 4 years...but I am hoping I will do alright in them. I have to. Otherwise I'm back to square one with what to do with myself for the rest of my life.

I don't really know what I was going to update with here...why don't you guys ask me questions and I'll answer them?

But I really wanted to vent here how much my brother annoys me. He can generally be okay. But he has some habits that I just hate and I wish he would change because he would be better off without them. Such as eating anything sweet in the house. Those jams and jellies are for sandwiches or pancakes or bagels - they're meant to be SPREAD on things and eaten, not just spooned out and consumed like they're ice cream. He ate like all the preserves. All the ice cream. Baker's chocolate. And he's not like 10 or 8 years old where it's like "oh he doesn't know any better." He's 23. Yes, he is a person with Autism. But we have explained, year after year, time after time, in as many ways as we can, that he cannot eat everything we have in the house and then not tell someone we need more of it. Because when Mom goes to get out the jam to put on Sunday breakfast, or to get the baker's chocolate to make us a cake, and it's ALL GONE, she starts in on him and the house gets filled to the brim with discord and shouting.

I just wish he would understand that if he didn't do certain things, or at least confesses to doing them, then he wouldn't get yelled at by myself or my mother. We'd all have a lot more peaceful lives. I wouldn't resent his presence as much. Please don't think I hate him or his disability. It just frustrates me and I need to let out that frustration in writing as opposed to getting into a fight with him.

Also, I am hooked on the City of Wonder game on google+. Good lord it is fun.

I suppose I should comment on the random earthquake we had or even Hurricane Irene but it's all been said and done and I am perfectly fine. I hope all of you are also well and safe.
