Elvis Icon just because
So, I'm working summer school. I make $10.00 an hour. It's ain't much but a week's worth of work means I can pay rent to mom in August! I really got to step up the selling of my crap. Maybe one of these days I'll just pay for a table at a small con and be a vendor and sell all my shit. Same prices, just no shipping involved! I'd have to be cash only though...
July is busy as hell yo! Otakon, seeing friends, Civil War Reenactment in Manassas...work.
What the hell will I do in August? (Besides start graduate school. Oh dear.)
So I am like marathoning Supernatural like a BOSS. Season 5 is next. After that Season 6 and I'll be all caught up. I like this show a lot. Someone hit me for not watching it earlier.
I feel kind of lonely. Why do my local friends work weekends? Ain't fucking fair.
Also, I don't look forward to the next few weeks on social sites. Lots of movies and stuff coming out I want to see, like Harry Potter Deathly Hallows 2, but I can't go see them at the first showing the first night they come out. I can't be part of the OMG YEA or OMG NOOO and I kind of hate having to skip over what my friends right just so I don't get spoiled. It sucks. I also hate being left out because I'll come back 2 weeks later and be like SO OMG THAT PART WHEN - and everyone will be like THAT'S SO OLD NEWS JESS, WTF?
I also have mixed feelings on the new Torchwood stuff. Can I stand it? Should I watch it?
Oh. So, in case anyone is wondering, for Otakon, my cosplay plans are as follows:
-America (of some sort, hell if I know. I don't really HAVE a costume for him. So...yeah. Maybe I could wear my Jedi costume and be America pretending to be a Jedi knight? I have no fucking idea guys. Suggestions?)
-Napoleonic France (HELLS TO THE YEAH. My hat looks dumb but whatever! I'll have a cape!)
-Pirate Chef Japan? (Um...yeah I don't even...I...I don't even have a WIG for Japan, I'm going to be like FU MY HAIR IS ASIAN ENOUGH, JUST DEAL. Basically an excuse to wear my kimono pirate coat and lots of scarves. And pinstripe pants.)
This post is all over the place. But as you can see I'm alive! Just, you know, doing my Hetalia RP, watching Supernatural, and reading way too much Thor fan fiction. I need to read Thor's comics because yeah. I need more Thor in my life.
ALSO. I NEED 100 SONG RECOMMENDATIONS. REC AWAY.
