Firmest Art Substitute Ever: Me?
Today I did art which was fun and not all that hard. Some kids of course wanted to gossip more than do their worksheets - I can't blame them for that, doing actual art projects are way more fun that worksheets.
We even had a fire drill!
One boy said I was more fair than their regular teacher. I'm not sure how that works...
And of course I got the typical middle school boy reaction of "Soandso thinks you're pretty. He has a crush on you." It was sweet if not random.
But yes. I was very firm with the kids, and they listened and responded well to that. So hurray!
And the strings teacher is probably going to ask for me from now on because I actually know strings stuff. Woo hoo!
And I got work for Friday and next week Monday. Yea!
...I still really wish I was certified. One day...one day I will be!
