Day Three of October Cold

Oct 12, 2008 14:47

So the pressure is gone. Nose isn't as stuffy and I've been sneezing, so I think all that tea and juice, and vitamin water, and medicine has done the trick. But I am still taking it easy - I don't want to relapse. Dwight and Steph paid me a short visit - they're off to a sake festival. Dwight said I didn't look sick but I know I sound weird. To me ( Read more... )

Ahh, Toshi. I'm totally not going to hold your marriage and how it seemed to screw X over in the past against you anymore if you shower Yoshiki with much more loving detail than your wife. Do keep it up. xD

But you know what would really make me happy concerning X? Some freaking date for the Paris concert. About a month to go and... is it happening or not?!

Anyway, glad to hear you're feeling better now.

...you really think his marriage screwed over X? He got married to her AFTER he left the band...so she's not the cause.
He never does talk about his wife...but I'm more than happy to have him talk about Yoshiki! Fufufufu. X3

You're not the only one. I'm not trying to butt heads with people over it but we'll see how long I can avoid a huge argument. But if I expect a full turn out, then yes, tickets need to be on sale now.

Yeah, at least I haven't relapsed.

I did say seemed to. Who can tell for sure now? But I don't think just the fact that they didn't have an official paper for it at the time rules out the possibility. I'm not saying either way, but honestly? We just don't know. It seemed rather strange.
XD

It's just depressing because if they keep delaying it, there's no way they'll sell out the venue and the concert won't be what it could have been. I haven't done much besides letting off some steam about it, but I'd like to hear something. I'd really like to know what on earth their management is doing, for instance.

I seem to be oversensitive these days for no real reason, so I'm sorry for jumping down your throat. T_T Nothing is normal about anyone in that band. And you're right, no one knows for sure, and I'm starting to think even the people involved don't remember anymore.

Certainly. If they're going to cancel, then they should cancel. X always is mute until the last minute though. This isn't a good thing but it's what they do, for some unknown reason. Maybe they're lazy and forgetful. I don't know. But you're right, if they delay this any longer, they won't sell out a big stadium. There can not be that many fans in France alone. Maybe their management polishes Yoshiki's cars and private jet? XD;

No harm done! (I saw your other X post, by the way, so I know what you mean.) And I could definitely see them blurring the lines and not even remembering how exactly what happened back then.

I guess not saying a thing until the last minute works for them in some cases, but this would be a first, so it seems irresponsible (what a stupid word to associate with a band! XD) to risk it like this. Whatever it is they haven't resolved, I sure hope it's going to be dealt with soon.

They're old ya know. XD And when you stop being angry with one another, you tend to forget what you fought over.

Yeah, certainly. I mean, the first time around, I really worried about them canceling their world tour. Now I just expect it. I also expect them to stop activities at some point - possibly in the next year if they actually go through with all their concerts. They're running out of steam. It's not that they don't want to do things together, but 10 years of doing your own thing, trying to suddenly balance that with everyone else's schedules, and with Yoshiki not really being at 100%...it's a matter of time you know?

That's two valid points. XD

I wish I could say something to contradict or add to this, but... yeah. It sucks that an awesome band like X seems like it'll never really make it into general knowledge here. If they cancel the world tour, certainly not. And it just seems more and more likely.

Yeah...but you know, not everyone can be globally infamous ya know? It's a feat to achieve, and if it takes the rest of their lives, and it never happens, so be it. As long as they still got fans at the end of the day and got their health and happiness, right?

Well, yes. But it pisses me off to turn on the radio or TV and see what complete nobodies they try to shove down people's throats when they could promote much better artists. Just unfair, you know? *sigh*

Yeah I know. *pet pet* You know I want X to succeed and just...blow this world away. But that's up to them to decide. Though they really should put the pedal to the metal if they're serious about going to Paris. But...who knows. Maybe Yoshiki got sick again. -_-; But Toshi seems to have had a blast in Chile and Brazil, so maybe if the band doesn't make it worldwide, he will, and that might prompt the others to follow, ya know?

Blowing the world away would be awesome! But yeah, realistically, the hope's at least for Paris. I'm glad Toshi's been successful, though...
