My mother sent me an envelope full of mail I had gotten in the last month, and some coupons.
One of the items was a postcard from the Kennedy Center, which was actually sent to my mom since she's the one on their mailing list (she's took me to...three plays back in high school).
Guess what they did for the first three weeks of February this year?
A whole huge thing on JAPAN.
450 artists from Japan came, to D.C., MY HOMETOWN, and showed off their talents.
Guess who one of them was?
NOMURA FRICKING MANSAI.
HE CAME TO D.C., AND ON THE 17, PERFORMED THE KYOGEN OF ERRORS WITH HIS FATHER'S TROUPE.

AND I missed it!! Granted I couldn't have gone seeing as how I am in Seattle, and was coughing out my lungs that weekend, but I could have made my mother go!

...these X Japan concerts better blow my fricking mind, or I am going to have a talk with Japan and it's need to fill my life with irony. It is not cool, Nippon. Very not cool! Do not toy with my priorities like this!
