Witty and Oh So Funny

So, last friday I had Indian food with Mari and Ayako. We also saw "The Pursuit of Happyness." It's a good movie. Will Smith is a great actor, and his son is too. See it if you don't mind seeing the reality of the American Dream for a lot of people in the 1980's in San Fransisco ( Read more... )

ok day

thanks! I should call my mom and see what she likes to do haha.

Oh they can be creepy looking...but also beautiful. They're just so expensive...and their makeup/face paint is very fragile. But I learned a lot about the people who own them from dropping in on the meetup randomly. For a lot of people, buying one of these dolls is making a commitment for a goal. You never buy a doll you are not in love with. You do not buy one unless you fall in love with it. And then you save up for it. And the other people in the hobby are there to support you as you save up. It's really interesting. A lot of them are very nice people and not psycho at all. (And I had the idea that most dollfie owners were rich kids following the latest fad from Japan.)

i guess i don't find them practical. i'd rather spend my money getting a new lead pipe on my horn so i'll sound better than spend money on a dollfie. but i don't like dolls... so. ^-^;; don't mind me.

Oh I wouldn't spend the money on a doll either...unless I was very financially stable. Which I'm not.

I think it'll be good on DVD as well as in theaters. It's a good movie. For some, it makes them think. For others, it makes them happy!

Cool. I'm comfortable enough to say I like happy things (part of the reason WarioWare is so damn appealing :P).

OH! If you need help moving stuff, lemme know...not sure what my schedule holds, but if I have time I'll definitely help out if you want ;).

Happy things = good!

Sure! The more help the better! I think I will be moving Friday/Saturdayish...not sure if we're starting Friday, or just going to do it all Saturday hahah. But uh yeah, give me a call if you can help, just keep in mind it takes 30 minutes to get where I currently live by bus.
