Weekend Weekend Weekend Carry On
You get 10 points for knowing who sang the songs in my subject title. XD
Anyway, I tried to sleep in with ok success. I got up around 12, ate something, worked on Japanese...it was a very sleeeeepy day.
I did finish my Japanese and Linguistics hw - I only have to do Celtic tomorrow so I should be able to wake up early enough to get alot of stuff done. ;)
To do list:
- write letters back to those who wrote to me X__x
- PLC fanbook submission, and site submissions for supercosplayband.com
- Celtic hw >(
- start packing stuff to send home
- laundry and vacuuming?
and whatever else I think up. XD
Anyway, the highlights of the day: I got my new Toshi tape! This one is from the tour he did where he promoted his albumn "GRACE."
It was a full concert - 110 minutes. It has of course made me very very happy. <3 While Toshi has no fashion sense (and the long hair needs to go) he makes up for it in interaction with the audience, with the band, with the stage, general cuteness and just being Toshi.
Some of the greater points of the concert:
- JUMP BOUNCE SPIN SKIP JUMP STAND ON SPEAKER CLAP YOUR HANDS PINWHEEL ARMS KNEE BENDING BOUNCE SKIP EMOTE WITH ARMS/HANDS fist pumping
- he shook his booty, or tried to...either way there was camera on ass and it was moving so I was happy. XD
- Chachamaru was his guitarist XD
- his normal act of strip tease - for which I understood "It's getting hot in here! It's getting HOT! HOOT HOOT!"
- his english is cute. especially the way he says "drums" and "sax" XD
- catching a bouqet of flowers as if they had already been in his arms, dancing with them, and showing them to the camera
- lots of showing to the camera: hand, foot, but mainly face
- attempting to run around a small stage and having to slow down to get around speakers/walls
- filming the audience and the band, screaming to the fans "SHOW ME YOUR BEST FACE!!" in Japanese.
- playing piano.
- playing acoustic guitar and trying to bounce around with it.
- taking off his shirt and throwing it to the audience at the very end.
and there were probably much much more but I liked it. I might watch it again sometime soon (fear Ki fear!). I also got a cool free little Toshi card with it (obviously home made but it looks like it has some silver ink it so I really like it and it is one of my favorite pictures of him).
And then I watched that Janne Da Arc thingie Bre put up. They are such dorks but also good musicians. XD I still insist that Kiyo and Shuji are my favorites, especially during the alternate videos because they are...cute dorks. Yasu puts hide's AND Toshi's dorkiness to shame. He is truly the king of dorks. *makes him a paper crown*
And um I guess that's all I did today. XD Homework and watch stuff. I hope I am more productive tomorrow. XD
I also got dinner with Ki. XD Strawberry fanta is interesting.
