Everyone is interested in that upcoming formal dance. That's nice, really. I plan on attending myself since these kind of things are universally fun, no matter what planet or dimension you hail from.
But this is the important part.
I can't help but notice how this entire place lacks defenses of any kind. Do you just expect whatever horrors that exist out there to keel over at your presence? If you can win a fight through sheer intimidation, all the better. What's really intimidating is fortified earthworks, a tunnel system, and heavy bolter and flamer emplacements all over.
Call me biased but I'd really like to see a tunnel system under this town. If you think about it practically, you can rally your forces to places all over unseen, use them as a hiding spot if you're not a fighter, and make underground storehouses for supplies. Nearly every planet in the Imperium has one and I'll be frakked if they weren't useful to some extent.
Tell me, people. When that robot Titan was marching over this town (so I heard), wouldn't you have preferred a tunnel system to retreat to?
