I usually avoid making super-long entries because I know most people don't read them but a lot has happened in the past twenty-four hours so just get ready for a long one lol.
Yesterday afternoon Brandon got off work early so he picked me up from school. We went and ate Chinese with Mike, and goofed off, and then they came to my house. They were hanging out in the bonus room playing pool while I was in the shower and when I got out they informed me that I had to be ready in ten minutes. Long story short: I unintentionally set Mike up with a friend from my old school. They've been talking. She was having a party. I got dragged along. I ended up barefoot in a field lol. *head to desk* It was a field party and she walked out there without shoes and then they decided they were going streaking. I said hell no and for that, I got forced to give up my shoes (since apparently, I don't need shoes to stand there *rolls eyes*) They didn't go streaking, but they did break into a complex and got onto the roof. Mike attempted to streak but it didn't really work out lol.
I didn't get home from the party until late but I had to pack so I didn't get to bed until like one-thirty. Fun fun. Four hours later I was up and had to finish packing and doing homework. That left me less then forty-five minutes to shower and get ready, plus grab all my crap, drop it at my dad's house and then get to school lol. I was messy Hider to-day lol. But I had a good day! A really good day! I got the assistant editor job!! I mean, I kind of knew I would but our editor wasn't there today so me and Scott took over 'the office' (which is basically a teeny cubicle lol). We goofed off and he told me I was going to be assistant editor next year (which means I'll be editor my senior year!). And he burnt me a CD full of songs with our inside jokes and just randomness (mostly perverted lol). I'm soooo uploading some of the stuff on here lol.
Now for the not so good stuff... Tennessee gets tornados. A lot of them. The weather has been bad all day and they were saying to expect the worst storms in years but it wasn't that big a deal until they let out schools, which they never do. We got out at 2:30 and well, my bus dosen't get here until 3:10. So I was stuck. I was the only person left in my classroom and they wouldn't let me leave and my dad wouldn't answer his phone and blah blah blah. It sucked. I rode the bus and my driver took FOR-EV-ER. My dad had just gotten home and we had no power. *head to desk* So nothing. *bangs head*
Thankfully, all we've had is storms. Bad storms with softball sized hail but the county next to us has been horrible. My school let us go but all the schools in that county had to go under lockdown because the roads were covered in trees and power lines. Parents couldn't get their kids. They're telling people to not even bother leaving because they're not going to get anywhere. The community college completely lost its roof. Tons of homes were leveled, like roofs hit the ground. Over twenty people have already died. Then the hospital had to close because it was running on generators but its heating/air went out. Over 30,000 people are without power. The worst thing is, all these people who have lost half their houses can't really do anything but try to board the rest of it up because the worst of the storms aren't even suppose to come until late tonight. I'll be fine and my power shouldn't go out again but storms are set for all weekend, including more hail (uggh) so I just don't know how much I'll be around. We'll see. *shrug*
So anyway, that has been my twenty... eight hours, or at least the main points lol.
If my power stays, I'll probably be spamming you later because I have nothing better to do lol.
