Stop right there. That's exactly where I lost it. See that line? Well I never shoulda crossed it.

I don't have internet at home so I can't do the 'Eight Day of Happiness' thing because I'm not on everyday. So, instead, I'm just doing five things that have made me happy this week:

01. Getting to use the internet for a couple hours this afternoon. Score! (Only... kind of not so much, as well. Not having internet at home means that when I do get to use it, there's a sense of hurrythefuckupbeforeyoutime'sup. Lame.)

02. How I Met Your Mother's cast. I know it's all old news by now but I picked up my copy of TV Guide on Saturday (just as the lady at the supermarket was shelving them) and it made me happy all night. Their EW shoot reenacting the best moments of 2008 made me happy all day yesterday. NPH hosting SNL on January 10th will make me happy on January 10th. (Or more likely, January 11th - when I'll get to download it.) I can't wait to watch last week's episode that I missed!

03. My cousin called me today and offered me $300 to live at her house and watch her two kids for 4-5 days/nights! I'm a little nervous about the whole thing and not at all looking forward to it but I need the money and it's a really good deal. The kids are young (2 and 5) but good and one of them has school two of the mornings so I'll only have one full time. I think my mom's going to spend the first two nights with me just so I feel a bit better about being in their big huge house alone with two toddlers and no license. Sadly, it also means that I won't be able to go back to school until the week before classes start (which is on Jan.26th). But $300!! I'll be able to afford my textbooks!

04. I have eight presents under the TV! (Me and my mom are too lazy to put together our fake tree.) Woot! Woot! My family decided not to do much this Christmas so I expected like a DVD and a bag of candy so coming home to multiple wrapped presents was a nice surprise. I'm sure it's still not much and that my mom just wrapped everything individually so that I had more to open, but it's still exciting. Only three more sleeps until Christmas!

05. Me and my mom almost never use the front door because we park around back so I never go on our front porch unless someone else is picking me up/dropping me off. When I left to go to the library this morning, I literally tripped over four packages on my doorstep. (Third bruise on my bad knee in a week.) It was so exciting! I only opened the one from my internship because I was in a hurry but I can tell from the way they were addressed that the others were from you guys. It's going to be a nice little treat when I get home. *dances*

PS. Because I have a ridiculous amount of DVDs that I don't even watch anymore, I'm selling some of my sets at a certain community's yard sale. I know it's a long shot but we all know Hider's in the poor house so I figured it was worth a try. The entry is locked so I can't link to it but I am going to post the ones I'm selling below because I'd obviously rather them go to you guys if you want them.

• All DVDs are in great condition as I'm kind of anal about keeping them nice and shiny.
• Stars mark ones that are still shrink-wrapped and have never been watched.
• I prefer that payments be made through PayPal.
• Email me (brokenfragments@gmail.com) and we'll work everything out.
